Mario has been a fitness professional on the west coast since early 2015. He was inspired to become a group fitness instructor after having a fitness and weight loss transformation of his own losing nearly 50 pounds. He loves taking and teaching hot yoga and fitness classes because of how they challenge oneself physically, mentally, and spiritually. His goal as an instructor is to encourage students to challenge themselves to reach their full potential and to have a fun time by keeping the energy high in the room with intense movement, upbeat music, and motivating words. He believes change happens when we step out of our comfort zone and everyone’s mantra should be working towards becoming the best version of themselves in mind, body, and spirit.
